Burt’s Bees Facial Cleansing Towelettes: These all-in-one wipes cleanse and tone skin. For sensitive skin, they are a perfect fit for me and my end of day routine. A great deal for under $10 a pack!. Burt’s Bees also has a line of organic lipsticks – the Blush Basin hue is a great colour for fall and also moisturizes your lips for less than $10.
Everyone Lotion Coconut & Lemon ($13.47): I love EO products! This 3-in-1 lotion can be used on your face, hands, and body. Best part? It’s safe for the whole family to use.
Beauty || My favourite Masks of the Moment || Natural, Clinical & Splurge Worthy
We all know I love a good mask treatment, it’s easily my favourite beauty routine. I wanted to share with you the masks I’ve been using and loving for the past 4 months. From all natural options, to clinical I’ve got some great product picks you don’t want to miss. The majority of masks I’ve been coveting lately have fallen under the organic category, so most you can find at The Detox Market Canada. If you’re unfamiliar with them, they are basically the natural Sephora! Not Canadian, don’t you worry here is the American online store. If you’ve been wanting to add some luxury natural options to your makeup and skincare routine, they carry almost all my favourite brands. Check them out! With that being said here are my go-to masking moments as of late:

Yes of of that in one treatment! This is the mask to get your hands on. I love to use it as a spot treatment on my chin to help clarify that challenging blemish prone area.
Kèrastase Maskeratine Discipline: This hair mask is highly concentrated to nourish and repair your mane. Replenish your hair into a smoother silker version of itself. I love this treatment.
Odacitè Immediate Skin Perfecting Masque: At the heart of this skin perfecting masque 4 SYNERGIES of ingredients to DETOX, PEEL, BRIGHTEN and BOOST COLLAGEN. This all around perfecting treatment is one of my favourites. I mix a small amount and target areas on my face. Instead of water, you can use apple cider vinegar to mix your own blemish spot treatment for overnight treatments on blemishes.
Pura Botanicals Overnight Watermelon Mask (pictured above): This overnight moisture treatment is one of my weekly go-to’s. Join the cause, it’s Baby Safety Month with @WestCoast_Kids @Britax
September is Baby Safety month, so I’ve joined forces with Britax and West Coast Kids to give you a few simple tips and tricks to help you keep your LO safe on the road. Here are my September Tips Car Seat Edition:
I found it helpful to go in store and speak with West Coast Kids. With a few simple questions: like babies height, weight and age. My vehicle type and what kind of features I was looking for, they easily pointed me in the right direction and showed me a few options that fit my children safety wise and our lifestyle. We went with Boulevard CT for Harper and the Frontier CT for Alastair. Both seats were certified for aircraft travel as well, which was a great bonus feature for us.
It is important to follow the directions provided with the child seat AND the vehicle in order to achieve a proper installation. I got both my owners manual for our vehicle and the installation manual to give them both a read through before attempting to install.
After installation, it’s important to check tightness. Check base for excessive movement. Excessive movement is described as movement of more than one inch side-to-side or front-to-back at the belt path. You can even get your installation checked by a professional. Please see a list HERE.
