Life has been a bit stressful lately, the daily hustle with the kids can feel a little overwhelming to say the least. Plus, I know entering into the holiday season our days will only get busier! It is so important to sustain a healthy lifestyle everyday. Taking mental breaks, nourishing your body with healthy food and incorporating natural skincare. These are the simple things within my control these days, so you know I’m trying my best to stay on top of my healthy daily routines. That’s why I like using eos Organic lip balms, their new formula contains all natural moisturizers including 4 natural oils , and 1 natural butter. These cute tiny lip balm spheres easily fit into my purse kid’s school drop offs, daily stroller walks in the river valley, and my daily blog meetings. Best part? The eos Organic lip balms have always been 100% natural and certified Organic by USDA and Ecocert. They have always fit into my healthy lifestyle and now with flavours like: Strawberry Sorbet, Sweet Mint, Pomegranate Raspberry and Summer Fruit i have so many to choose from to suit my scent craving that day. Again, These flavors are 100% natural, certified Organic and made out of natural fruit extracts, what’s not to love? Have you had your #eosmoment today?

Home Decor || How to Style Sidetables 2 Ways || With @TheBrick #AD
Ever since our master bedroom reveal with this amazing The Berlin bed, so many of you have asked how we style our side tables. Honestly, I love to style side tables for bedrooms and end tables for living rooms simply because there are so many options. It’s the kind of design element you can change often, work in seasonal pieces and really have fun. See our International Lux Accent Table from The Brick styled two ways below.
The first way I like to style an side table is what I called the “Symmetric” Approach. Find a larger functional item like a lamp or a fan. Like this Tyler Lamp from The Brick in the centre of the side table. Depending how much much surface area you have add style items centrally to the table. I like stacks of books, candles, and cute smaller alarm clocks.
The next style approach is basically the opposite, it’s an Asymmetric Approach to placing your items. Simply pick one side of the table for your larger dominant item like this lamp and stack styled accents from there. I love this large glass jar I found in store at The Brick. I use them throughout the house to add a pop of shiny colour.
Edmontonians, these children need your help! RT, volunteer or donate! Please help @OLQPNorthRanch #YEG
As promised on my Instagram stories, here is all the info on helping one of my favourite organizations The OLQP North Ranch. Our Lady Queen of Peace Ranch Northern Alberta (OLQP North Ranch) is a registered nonprofit charity that partners with agencies throughout Edmonton area to provide a unique, enriching camp experience to thousands of children each year who require financial, emotional or social support. Contrary to the sound of their name, they are a non-religious charity and do not offer any faith based programming. Along with programming, they connect their clients with everyday necessities throughout the year: clothing, toys, household items, etc.
Find them socially on Instagram & Twitter at @OLQPNorthRanch and on Facebook at Facebook.com/OLQPNorthRanch
If you have time to give, here’s what you need to know:
They are sending out a call for Volunteers, they need Approximately 300 volunteers for the 9th Annual Children’s Christmas Party to be a success. They are looking for Edmontonians that are willing to donate their time & talents prepping for the event or volunteering at the event itself.

Birthday || This is 34! With a personal note.
As the years pass I feel less phased by the everyday stress and dramas. Part of it, I know has been dealing with loss and on the other side of the coin the birth of my two little ones in the past few years. Both of those life events, the passing of loved ones and the birth of a baby make you put everything into perspective… they are such profound experiences. It’s made me feel like a lot of life is just a numbers game that I don’t want to play. A monetary race to keep up with the Jones, a world of likes and followers. It can be hard to find balance and not let comparison rob you of joy. With that being said, I’m happy with 34; I feel better in my skin more then ever, I love my little family and live for the imperfect routine moments daily. Because my job is to live my life on the internet, I have at times found the online world not a positive one. Competitive, unsupportive and at times just plain mean. But I wouldn’t change my line of work, blogging has given me so many amazing experiences, connected me with beautifully creative people and allowed me to stay home with my little crew which is what matters most. So thank you for coming along with me, either a friend or a supporter I appreciate every single one of you.
I was so excited to receive a stackable ring set from PANDORA. The tiny hearts are so precious, and I’m loving that I can mix metals. The Rose™ Collection is truly stunning in person. Home Decor || Winter Table Setting Inspiration with @TheBrick Colby table #ad
With Halloween over and done with, my home design naturally shifts to winter vibes. I’ve partner with The Brick to style their beautiful rustic Colby table into the perfect holiday place setting that is sure to wow your guests this season. I wanted to play off the natural wood material of the Colby table by adding accessories like this greenery garland, antlers and artichokes. Keeping the room neutral with whites, woods, and pops of metallic made it easy to work in greens as the stunning touch of holiday magic. Add some candle light and you’ve got yourself a dinner party!
