Fall Fashion: My favourite chunky knit sweater

It’s my favourite month of the year: leaves, sweaters and halloween! I wish I could make these moments last forever. Harper is only a month and a half away from her first birthday. I can’t believe how fast this first year has gone, I’m so lucky to have her.

Outdoor Living || Fall Edition with @TheBrick #ad

Maybe it’s the snow looming but I always stay out on the patio to the bitter cold end. Let’s face it, we will be home bound for a good 6 months with winter soon enough. Why not utilize your patio for as long as you can? We love hosting dinners and sitting by the fire with friends and family. I transition the space very easily to fall by adding blankets, warm drinks and a touch of autumn decor. Our Capstone fire table from The Brick is a fall outdoor necessity. It prolongs our outdoor living place well into chilly October. It’s chic modern design make it a focal point of any patio setup. In previous years, this has been my favourite time to pick up patio pieces in summer sale sections for next year… or just to enjoy for the next month and a half for the end of season discount. It’s Infant Safety Month || Let’s talk baby gates…

We struggled to find baby gates for our new house. I learned to our area was extra wide because it was covering two sets of stairs. And the banister was in the way for most pressure point gates. Our friends at West Coast Kids found these Qdos, I love the white minimalist design and obviously their capability to go wider compared to the other gates on the market. We also attached their zero-screw furniture anti-tip kit to the white cabinet in the background. such a innovation to help stop furniture from crushing and harming our little ones. I’d take a look at it if you haven’t thought of that baby proofing yet.
